As the new school year begins, a wave of joy swept through Bolbok Elementary School in Batangas — thanks to the latest CSR initiative of Honda Cars Batangas and Hino Batangas under Barako Drive – Powered to Give Back.
With the campaign theme “Bring Smiles & School Supplies,” the project set out to provide Grade 2 students with the essentials they need to start their educational journey with hope and excitement.
From the launch of the donation drive, the response was overwhelming. Clients, partners, suppliers, and associates of Honda Cars Batangas and Hino Batangas generously shared their support by donating both school materials and cash contributions.
Each kit was thoughtfully prepared to give every child not just supplies, but a reason to smile.
On the day of the distribution (June 23, 2025), the students of Bolbok Elementary School buzzed with laughter and excitement. Our team was warmly welcomed by the faculty and students, and the simple act of giving turned into an unforgettable exchange of gratitude, joy, and inspiration.
One by one, the children received their school kits—each bag filled with tools for learning and the unspoken message that someone believes in their future.
Adding to the heartwarming moment, School Principal Ms. Milagros Calingasan delivered a special message, officially declaring Honda Cars Batangas and Hino Batangas as an official school partner under the Brigada Eskwela program of DepEd. She expressed her appreciation for the initiative and shared her hope for the continuous sharing of light and support to the students in the years to come.
